What's new

What changed and when, newest first. Have an idea? Email hello@meshgradientstudio.com.

  1. Undo, autosave and share links

    • ·Undo and redo, with Cmd+Z and Shift+Cmd+Z (Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y on Windows) or the arrows next to the design name.
    • ·Your design is kept on your device as you work. Close the tab or refresh and it is there when you come back.
    • ·The share button copies a link to your design, saved or not. Whoever opens it gets the same design in the editor.
    • ·Canvas sizes for an Instagram post, a Story or Reel, a YouTube thumbnail and phone and desktop wallpapers. The 2x PNG is the exact size each one needs.
    • ·Videos loop seamlessly: the last second blends into the first, so a Reel or a site background never jumps.
    • ·From image takes the colors from a photo or logo. Double-click the canvas to add a color, and press Delete to remove one.
  2. Four new styles and finishes

    • ·Four new styles: Lava Lamp, Liquid Chrome, Holographic and Retro Grid. That makes 15. Anyone can design with them now; exporting them is Pro until November 20, then free for everyone.
    • ·Finishes for any design: film grain, fluted glass, a pixel dither or halftone dots, and blur. They sit under Finish on the Design tab, cover every layer, and come through in PNGs, videos, embeds and share images.
    • ·Eleven new presets to start from, including Synthwave, Molten Gold, Fluted Glass and Halftone Pop.
  3. Styles, help, and posting for everyone

    • ·A page for each of the 11 styles, with a live example and presets that open straight in the editor.
    • ·Post to gallery: anyone signed in can share a design to the community gallery from the editor. No need to save first.
    • ·Multi-layer presets are now open on the free plan.
    • ·A help page and step-by-step guides for websites, Reels and TikTok, and slides.
    • ·HTML embeds pause when they scroll out of view, show a still frame to visitors who prefer reduced motion, and work when you put more than one on a page.
    • ·Exports now match the editor. Ribbons and lines in PNGs, videos and embeds keep the width you see while designing; before, a 2x PNG could come out with lines three times thinner.
    • ·Every thumbnail and preview is drawn by the same renderer as the editor, so what you see in a card is what opens.
  4. Video export and Pro Lifetime

    • ·Export MP4 video, rendered frame by frame in your browser. Free clips run 5 seconds at 720p; Pro goes to 30 seconds at 4K.
    • ·Pro Lifetime: pay $49 once instead of subscribing. See pricing.
    • ·Follow along on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
  5. Trial reminder and a cleaner gallery

    • ·New accounts get one email shortly before their 7-day Pro trial ends, so nothing ends by surprise.
    • ·Names and descriptions in the community gallery are checked for slurs and hate terms before they go public.
