A moving gradient makes a good background for a text post, an announcement or a lyric clip. You make it here as a vertical MP4, then add your words in Instagram, TikTok or your video editor.
Make the video
- Open the editor. On the Settings tab, under Canvas, choose Story / Reel.
- Pick a style. Neon Flow, Aurora and Liquid Marble read well on a phone screen.
- Slow the animation down a little with the Speed slider. Slow motion looks calmer under text.
- Click Export, open the Video tab, choose a length and a size, leave Seamless loop on, and click Export MP4.
Free videos run up to 5 seconds at 720p with a small watermark. Pro goes up to 30 seconds at 1080p or 4K, with no watermark. For Reels and TikTok, 1080p is plenty.
Post it
- Send the MP4 to your phone (AirDrop, email or a cloud folder).
- In Instagram or TikTok, start a new post and pick the video.
- Add your text on top with the app's text tool.
Both apps replay short videos on a loop, so even a 5-second clip keeps moving while people read.
Make a set that matches
Keep one gradient and change only the colors for each post. Press R in the editor for random colors, or set your brand colors in the Colors list, and export one video per palette.
